Tub Replacement in Flood Ridden West Pittston Home

Scott and Joann purchased a home in West Pittston with a beautiful view of the Susquehanna River. The river, which brought flooding to some areas, had never caused any problems for the town of West Pittston.

In 2011, the town that was spared from river issues in the past was devastated by flood waters. Scott and Joann, who had been fixing up the old Victorian home, were suddenly forced to start over. The water not only came into their home, but drowned their entire first floor.

ReBath Northeast had redone the upstairs bathtub when the couple first moved in. Days after the flood, Scott walked into the showroom and asked to speak with Rich. Rich worked out plans to redo the downstairs bathroom for Scott as soon as the products arrived.

A few weeks later, Bruce and Judd arrived at the home. A sad sight to see, the first floor was completely gutted. The installers got right to work, installing the new bathtub and surround, fixing plumbing, laying floor and installing the toilet. A few days later the bathroom was complete and Scott had one less thing to worry about.

As they were working, Bruce noticed Scott and Joann’s kitchen cabinets had arrived but were sitting in their living room. He mentioned this to Rich, who then inquired about the contractor who was supposed to install them. Sadly, the contractor had backed out of the job and Scott was stuck with no kitchen. Rich offered to have Bruce install them and Scott gladly accepted.

Scott and Joann went through devastation that many in our area never even have to think about. They are still so grateful to Rich and his crew for the wonderful service they received. When we went back to take photos of the completed bathroom almost a year later, Scott was still gushing about the experience.
