The best way to keep your system looking new and clean is to prevent water marks and soap film from building up. When you are finished with your shower, simply wipe the walls dry with your towel or a squeegee. This will lessen your weekly cleaning time and keep your system looking great.

Tub rings clean up easier immediately after the bath water drains out. Wipe the sides of the tub before the ring dries. If you let the tub ring dry, it will take a little longer to clean.

A comment we heard from several customers is; the liquid body wash type soaps tend to leave behind less film than standard bar soaps and the film is easier to clean.

If you allow soap film to accumulate, mold and mildew may grow on the soap film and stain the thermal expansion sealant. You can prevent mold and mildew from growing by cleaning the sealant weekly with a 50%-50% mixture of bleach and water. This can be done effectively in about a minute or two. Wet a common kitchen sponge with the 50/50 mixture and wipe the corners and at the tub and wall joints as you would wipe your kitchen table or counters. There is no need to scrub. You want to pick up the soap film in the sponge and leave behind enough bleach and water to prevent any mold and mildew from starting to grow. Clean the sealant with bleach and water at least once a week and your system will stay looking like new for years.

Do not use abrasive cleaners like cleanser or scrubby pads. They will dull and scratch the finish. Also, do not use cleaners with harsh chemicals. They will damage the acrylic. Always check the label to verify that the cleaner is safe for use on acrylic.
