You recently updated your bathroom (maybe even with us, ReBath Northeast) and you want a the room to have a totally new look. Sure you could hang up that old seashell clock and matching shower curtain, but don’t you want a fresh new look to go along with you new renovated bathroom? We thought so!
If you want to get really creative we have some unique bathroom decorating ideas for you.
Paint horizontal stripes around the whole room for an open, borderless space. This idea is great for a guest bath or a teenager’s bathroom.
Think Redo & Reuse
One of the latest trends is using an old dresser as your vanity. This idea will definitely take some planning before you have your bathroom redone and some research on who can transform an antique dresser into a vanity, but it will be well worth it when you see the final product. If you are a lover of one of a kind pieces, this is definitely the way to go.
Who says wallpaper is completely out of style? Not anyone on HGTV. Give your bathroom a bold look with some brightly colored or crazily patterned wallpaper. If you are worried it will make the room feel small, just choose a feature wall for the wall paper and then paint the others with a color that matches.
Think Writing on the Wall
Have a favorite funny quote or inspirational saying? Stencil it on the wall. If it is something fairly common, you may be able to purchase vinyl stickers. When you see it in the morning, it’ll put you in a good mood to start the day. This idea works great in the kids’ bathroom.
Hope we got your creative mind flowing. We’d love to see photos of your creative ideas. Post them on our Facebook page!
